Public Programming update
The health and safety of our visitors and event attendees is always Teatown’s primary concern. Please note the following:
- The Visitor Center and indoor restrooms remain closed until further notice. The trails remain open from dawn till dusk. A composting toilet is available across the street from the Visitor Center during daylight hours. The Visitor Center will open when we are confident that we can do so safely for our staff and visitors.
- We are taking many precautions to ensure the safety of the public and our staff during programs. In-person programs are held outdoors. Participants are required to wear face masks and to practice physical distancing. Please click here for more information on our COVID program policies. We now have outdoor restrooms to accommodate program participants.
- Parking tags are again required. Parking tags are required daily, from 9am to 5pm. Click here for more information on our parking policy.
Teatown needs your support, now more than ever.
To mitigate the transmission of COVID-19, we’ve had to close our Visitor Center and cancel many programs, making it difficult for us to earn the revenue that funds our work.
We welcome you to the preserve and ask you to please give a contribution today. Whether large or small, each donation will help support our staff, maintain our trails, and care for our wildlife ambassadors. Thank you for your support, from all of us at Teatown.
Registering for programs
Pre-registration is required for all programs. Unless otherwise noted, all programs are free for members and $8.00 for non-members.
