Part I covered butterfly ID terminology, along with key features used for identifying a set of commonly confused species in Eastern New York (including swallowtails, pierids (whites and sulphurs), and basic lycaenids (blues & hairstreaks). This time the focus will be seasonal brood cycles, along with additional ID pointers, including elfins, common nymphalids, and skippers.
