Invasive Vine Cutting at Cliffdale

April 7, 2018 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Asian bittersweet is an invasive plant that threatens the life and longevity of trees in our forests. Come help our stewardship team clear vines from the forest edge and save a tree! For adults. Free.

Teatown will supply loppers, saws, hard hats if necessary, work gloves. Volunteers should:

  • Wear long pants and long-sleeved shirts that they don’t mind getting dirty or scratched – we’ll be working in some areas with barberry thorns
  • Bring bug spray for ticks
  • Bring a Nalgene and snacks

Programs require pre-registration. Online registration available until 24 hours before the event. If online registration is not available, call (914) 762-2912 x110 to register.
