Cliffdale Farm

Cliffdale Farm has been a part of Teatown since 1992, when it was donated by Marion Asocli to provide educational programming. While Cliffdale is not a working farm, the property is used to access hiking trails and for scheduled school & public programs. Visit our calendar for more information on programs.

No motor coaches or buses larger than a school bus are allowed at Cliffdale or on Teatown Road.

Directions to Cliffdale Farm

Cliffdale Farm’s official street address will not bring you to the proper entrance. Rather, plug 85 Teatown Rd, Croton-on-Hudson into your GPS, which will bring you within a few hundred yards of the entrance. Look for the big “Teatown” sign on the side of the road.

Please note: Many of the roads around Teatown are extremely narrow and steep. Please take the route indicated by the arrows. If you take another road, your vehicle may well get stuck.

Written Directions

From New York City/Southern Westchester

Take the Major Deegan Expressway to the NYS Thruway Route 87 North to exit 9, Tarrytown (last exit before the Tappan Zee Bridge). Follow directions for Route 9 Northbound.

Route 9 Northbound
Take Route 9 north to Ossining. Watch for Route 133 on right. Do not turn.
Continue on Route 9. At the third light after 133, make a right onto Cedar Lane. (Just after Mavis Tire) Cedar Lane will become Spring Valley Road.
Make first left onto Glendale Road.
Take second right off Glendale Road onto Quaker Ridge Road (at the triangle).
Make the second right onto Teatown Road.
Take Teatown Road one mile to the Cliffdale bus and car entrance which is on the left.

From Southern Westchester/Connecticut

Take 287 west to exit 2, Route 9A north.
Take Route 9A approximately 10 miles.
Make a right onto Route 134. Follow Route 134 approximately 2-1/2 miles.
Follow directions from Route 134 below.

From Putnam County/Northern Westchester

Route 9 Southbound
Take Route 9 south to the 9 – 9A split. Bear left at split towards Briarcliff Manor -9A.
At Route 134 make a left. Follow Route 134 approximately 2-1/2 miles.
Look for the firehouse substation on right. In approx ½ mile, make a left onto Spring Valley Road.
After approximately 1 mile, make a right from Spring Valley Road onto Blinn Road (at fork).
Blinn Road will become Apple Bee Farm Road. Continue until “T” intersection with Quaker Ridge Road.
Make a left onto Quaker Ridge Road, travel approximately 1 mile, make the first left onto Teatown Road.

Take Teatown Road one mile to the Cliffdale bus and car entrance which is on the left.

Taconic Parkway Southbound
Take the Taconic to exit for 134 West Ossining.
After 1/4 mile, make a right turn onto Spring Valley Road. (Angled intersection)
After approximately 1 mile, make a right from Spring Valley Road onto Blinn Road (at fork).
Blinn Road will become Apple Bee Farm Road. Continue until “T” intersection with Quaker Ridge Road.
Make a left onto Quaker Ridge Road, travel approximately 1 mile, make the first left onto Teatown Road.
Take Teatown Road one mile to the Cliffdale bus and car entrance which is on the left.
