Introduced by the Kitchawan Brooklyn Botanic Garden in 1981, ‘Yellowbird’ is regarded as one of the best of the yellow-flowering varieties for its deep, canary-yellow flowers that are seldom damaged by spring frost. With its upright, conical to pyramidal shape, this tree will produce masses of breathtaking bloom.
