“Nothing Like It Had Ever Been Seen Before”

(Horticulture Magazine Jan/Feb 2023)

To honor Teatown’s legacy relationship with Brooklyn Botanic Garden, PlantFest is pleased this year to be able to offer three of these breathtaking, hard to find, specimen trees sourced from Broken Arrow Nursery.

Named for Elizabeth Van Brunt whose family donated 226 acres of Kitchawan Farm in 1956 for the creation of the BBG Kitchawan Research Station where its world-famous yellow magnolia hybrid breeding program was developed.  Winner of the prestigious Award of Garden Merit of the Royal Horticultural Society and a Gold Medalist from the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society.

Teatown is offering 3 of these rare ‘Elizabeth’ beauties in the PlantFest eStore.
