The two-acre Wildflower Island, a refuge within the greater Teatown preserve, is home to roughly 280 species of wildflowers, trees, shrubs, ferns, grasses, sedges, and rushes. Join us as we explore this hidden jewel at our preserve in tours led by experienced guides. Reservations required. For adults.

Join us for "A Night in the Woods", our signature annual celebration, on Sunday, October 3 at 5:30pm at the Sleep Hollow Country Club in Briarcliff Manor, NY. Our 2021 theme is "Teatown Teaches: An Intergenerational Community of Environmental Leaders", with honorees including Nancy Felcher, Dr. Angela White, Howard Permut, and our own Teatown Education Staff.

Fabulous Fall at Cliffdale

Cliffdale Farm Teatown Rd,, Ossining

The meadows, gardens, and forests at Cliffdale are rich with an abundance of plants that can be used for many purposes. The Lenape, indigenous people of this area, knew what plants to use for cordage, healing, and food. Join Teatown Environmental Educator Marie Roche to learn about the resources nature provides, and make a few projects to take home. This is a weekly program.
