Beginner’s Ear: Nature and Music at Teatown
Sunday, June 11 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Michelle Ross, Violin
Join us for an outdoor concert and meditation at the serene Teatown Boat House on the Lakeside Trail. Tune your ear to nature with a short guided meditation, followed by a violin performance by Michelle Ross.
Michelle Ross is a violinist, composer and improviser of uncommon gifts and deep curiosity. A protégée of the legendary Itzhak Perlman, she has performed as guest concertmaster with a stellar range of ensembles including the Orchestre de Paris, the London Symphony Orchestra and the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, and toured as guest first violinist with the Juilliard String Quartet. She appeared on Jon Batiste’s Grammy-winning album “We Are.” For this outdoor music meditation, Michelle will draw on music from her debut album “Discovering Bach” as well as her own compositions.
The meditation is moderated by longtime New York Times contributing music critic and Beginner’s Ear founder Corinna da Fonseca-Wollheim.
