Amphibian Monitor Volunteer Info Session (Adults)

Learn how to join the team of volunteer monitors in this info session offered by Teatown’s Elissa Schilmeister and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.
Teatown has trained citizen science monitors for the annual Amphibian Migrations and Road Crossings (AM&RC) Project for many years, empowering them to help amphibians in their own communities. This requires evening outdoor field work on high-migration nights in March and April. Volunteers assist local wildlife on their amazing migrations while collecting essential scientific data.
