  • Webinar: Why You Don’t Need Your Gas-powered Leaf Blower

Teatown 1600 Spring Valley Rd, Ossining, NY

Manage fall leaves in a sustainable way that will benefit your yard year after year.

The Green Living Series is brought you to by a partnership between the Croton Conservation Advisory Council and Teatown. Our annual rite of raking, blowing, piling, bagging, and trucking leaves out of residential neighborhoods costs each homeowner hours of time each fall and robs our yards of one of nature’s greatest resources: rich, natural compost. Join Fiona Mitchell from Leave Leaves Alone, Dan Delventhal, owner of Mow Green, and Bruce Laemmel, Croton-based landscaper, to discuss alternate methods of fall lawn care that are beneficial to our yards, pollinators and our health.
