Wet & Wild (Families)

Pollywogs and red efts and spring peepers, oh my! Meet the amazing amphibians of Cliffdale Farm and learn what sets these critters apart from reptiles. We’ll model their annual migration to Teatown’s vernal pools by playing a fun game and search for signs of amphibian activity in these temporary ponds. This program involves a short walk, so please dress appropriately for the weather.

The season for growth is nearly upon us: celebrate spring in the gardens of Cliffdale Farm with Environmental Educator Caroline Erb and Stewardship Program Manager Eva Giorgi. Decorate a pot, take home native seeds, and plant something for the season ahead in our pollinator garden. Set your spring intentions on a short hike after getting your hands in the spring soil. This program involves a short walk and light gardening, so come to craft, but please dress for the weather.
