Permits are available for individuals or families, based on membership status. If you are not a Teatown member, you can become one here. You will be contacted by staff sometime in mid-April to sign up for a permit if you are an active member.

The fishing season will be from June 15, 2026 – November 30, 2026, 7 days per week. Fishing is only permitted at Teatown Lake and portions of Vernay Lake.

Participants in the fishing program must attend a mandatory orientation to discuss rules and regulations for fishing at Teatown prior to fishing on the preserve. Permit pickup will be in person at Teatown following the orientation.

If you have questions regarding fishing at Teatown, please contact Meghan Leverock, mleverock@teatown.org.
