Join Teatown environmental educator Elissa Schilmeister in a fascinating introduction to Teatown’s Animal Ambassadors. Meet and learn about owls, falcons, hawks, and vultures.
Elissa Schilmeister has been involved with Teatown for 26 years as a camper, volunteer, and staff member. She is a New York State Licensed Wildlife Rehabilitator and a NYS/NREMT Paramedic. Elissa has many interests including herpetology, travel, photography, and learning new things.
Please note: This is an in-person program at Teatown. Children under 8 are free. No refunds. No dogs allowed. This is a 1-hour program by registration only. No walk-ins.
The in-person programs will have limited capacities and will be held outdoors, so be prepared to dress warmly! In case of inclement weather, the programs may be moved indoors. Please note that all programs and activities are subject to restrictions or cancellations due to health regulations. Teatown is requiring all adults to show proof of vaccination to attend public programs. Masks are strongly recommended for outdoor programs and required for indoor programs for all attendees.
