Spotted Lanternfly Workshop

Join us for a free community workshop about the invasive Spotted Lanternfly.
Become a citizen scientist and learn how to identify Spotted Lanternfly in various stages of growth, tips on ways to avoid accidentally transporting this pest, and what to do if you see one (Hint: STOMP IT).
This invasive pest is concerning due to its potential detrimental effects on agriculture and forests. It has the capacity to destroy vineyards, orchards and hardwood trees.
Do your part to mitigate the spread of the Spotted Lanternfly in your area by educating yourself and your community.
This workshop will be held outdoors under the big tent.
Free to attend, pre-registration required.
This free workshop is presented by Joyce deVries Tomaselli, CCEDC Community Horticulture Resource Educator and is sponsored by the Cornell Cooperative Extension Dutchess County.
