Experience Nature through the Five Senses for Women

Join Meryle Richman and Sharon Shapiro for a meditation followed by a gentle hike around Teatown Lake. Throughout the hike we will focus on using the five senses to relax, be present, and take in nature. After the hike, enjoy a gentle stretching/chair yoga class. No yoga mat or yoga experience needed.

Meryle Richman, PT, DPT, MS, CST has been a physical therapist for almost 50 years with a doctoral degree in physical therapy and recently became a Certified Yoga Therapist.
With an extensive background in Myofascial and Cranial Sacral Therapy and as an instructor in Therapeutic Yoga, Meryle helps her patients achieve their goals to live a healthier lifestyle.
Sharon Shapiro, MSW, 200 hr. RYT, 300 hr. CYT in Yoga, Psyche, Soul
Sharon has been a therapist and yoga teacher for 38 years. Her commitment to helping others lead healthy and fulfilled lives is her passion. Chair Yoga can assist us in restoring ourselves; with seated stretching, better balance, mindful focus, decreased stress and can bring a sense of wellbeing into our days.
