Creating Habitat with Native Plants

We all know that birds and insects are in trouble. How can we help? In this program, hear about the role that suburban gardeners can play in restoring healthy diversity to our ecosystem. You will learn about some of the native plants that are most valuable to wildlife – and hardy and beautiful in the garden as well.
Tickets are Pay-as-you-wish starting at $5.
Program to take place over Zoom. Participants will receive the access code/link upon registration and an email the day of the event.
Presenter Bio:
Eva Thaddeus and Julie Sootin are co-owners of Wild Gardens Nursery, a new native plant nursery whose mission is “rewilding the Lower Hudson Valley one plant at a time.” Both passionate gardeners, they met working at Teatown, where Eva was on the environmental education staff and Julie was director of development.
