TESA Research Symposium

Meet the Next Generation of Environmental Scientists: TESA Research Symposium 

Teatown Environmental Science Academy (TESA) is an intensive summer research program that empowers high school students with the theories, tools, and techniques scientists use to study pressing conservation issues. This year’s TESA class has designed experiments that explore a variety of topics ranging from invasive jumping worms to light pollution. You may have seen TESA students conducting fieldwork and collecting data around Teatown this summer. We invite the Teatown community to meet youth scientists and learn about their project findings at the annual TESA Research Symposium.
