Inaugural NABA Butterfly Count

The local chapter of the North American Butterfly Association is organizing its inaugural Butterfly Count, covering the Hidden Valley Count Circle. This section is centered in Dutchess County, extends into Putnam County, and covers parts of Connecticut. Many rare butterflies have been found historically in the area, which includes the Great Swamp and many exciting parks and habitats. This count is co-organized by Bedford Audubon.
