After a summer hiatus, the Westchester-Putnam chapter of the North American Butterfly Association is resuming its meetings at Teatown’s Carriage House.
September’s program is on “Butterflies, Moths, and Other Creatures of Deer Isle, Maine.” Harry Zirlin and Teatown’s own Charlie Roberto will be the presenters. Harry writes for American Butterflies Magazine and has an encyclopedic knowledge of insects. The meeting will include reports of summer butterfly sightings by members and discussion of other areas of interest. All are welcome, and non-NABA members are especially encouraged to attend. Refreshments will be served.
