    In this guided immersion, we explore the wisdom of bees, the medicine of honey, and the power of scent as pathways into regulation, reciprocity, and collective wellbeing. Through honey tasting & "medicine”-making, aromatic exploration, simmer pot creation, botanical room spray blending, sensory reflection, and community, participants will move through a carefully curated journey of connection, curiosity, sensory awareness, and integration.

    The gates of Wildflower Island are open – come stroll the winding paths and enjoy the beauty of Teatown Lake from a different perspective. Guides will be stationed in the Gatehouse and along the trails to answer questions about the flowers in bloom.

    Teatown is home to breeding birds of all shapes and sizes. Many of them rely on cavities in dead trees to build their nests. Not everyone has the perfect tree in their yard to encourage would-be parents! Join us for a nestbox building workshop so you can prepare for breeding bird season – owls start early!

    Lace up your hiking boots and bond with fellow female hikers as we cruise the trails. Each hike’s location will be dependent on weather and trail conditions. Please dress appropriately for prolonged outdoor activity, and be sure to bring sun protection, bug spray, water, and a snack.

Using live animals, mounts, furs, and bones, a Teatown educator brings local species to life while exploring key concepts such as biodiversity, habitat, population dynamics, and conservation through interactive demonstrations. This program takes place at the Greenburgh Public Library.

    Join master storyteller Jonathan Kruk for a lively interactive performance of local lore for families, with live musical accompaniment by “Caffeine” Steve Kelman. Children will step into stories as characters in these tales, so come prepared to get called upon to join the troupe of troubadours. This afternoon of enchanting tales for all will include local place-name skits, the story of the Hudson River’s formation, and more!

Celebrate America 250 with Hudson Valley Master Storyteller Jonathan Kruk and Historical Balladeer Linda Russell, as they lead us on a musical journey starting with Teatown’s Revolutionary origins through to today. Warm up your vocal cords for some sing-along pub songs, accompanied by hammer dulcimer and guitar!
