Emily Edmonds-Langham
Emily joined the Teatown team as Director of Education this winter after many years at the American Museum of Natural History. She’s excited to see camp take place in the woods, by the streams, and across the fields of Teatown — a big change from museum dioramas! Emily is an avid birder, gardener, and outdoors person and looks forward to sharing those passions with your campers.

Marie Roche
This is Marie’s seventh summer working at Teatown and first time as Camp Director! She is Teatown’s Associate Director of Education Programs and enjoys hiking with her husband and dog. Marie likes all things water related: sailing, rowing, and counting glass eels for the DEC. Her love of eels inspired this year’s camp shirt. She is looking forward to an awesome Teatown summer!

Elissa Schilmeister
Elissa has been spending the past 27 summers at Teatown. From a camper, volunteer, counselor and staff, Teatown has become a second home to her. Elissa is an Environmental Educator and the Volunteer Coordinator. She especially enjoys teaching about the misunderstood animals and herpetology. Elissa is also works as a NYS Paramedic.

Maddy Schroeder
Hi! I’m Maddy Schroeder the Assistant Camp Director working closely with our youngest campers, the Discoverers and Trekkers. This summer will be a blast as we nurture the love of nature within your child through crafts, exploration, and imaginative play.

Caroline Erb
As a former camper and CIT, I am so excited to be back at Teatown, the place where I discovered my passion for nature. I love to explore and identify all the plants and animals I see around me. If you see me on the trails, I’ll likely have my field guides in hand!

Hallie Swanson
Hi I’m Hallie and I’ll be the EMT at camp this year. This fall I’ll be a senior at Cornell University as a Communications major with a Climate Change minor. I look forward to having a fun and healthy summer with everyone!

Erin Baker
Erin is the Cliffdale camp supervisor for the first two sessions. Erin is a former counselor from eons ago when dinosaurs roamed earth… After graduating with a masters in biology, and various wildlife related field jobs, she returned to Teatown as an educator for a decade. She now teaches 6th grade life science in Mahwah, NJ for the past 5 years. Erin loves all things involving wildlife, and loves to hike the Teatown trails with her two kids.

Brandon Shea
Hi, I’m Brandon! I attended college at SUNY ESF where I studied Conservation Biology. Since I graduated, I’ve been working as a wildlife biologist and backcountry guide for several different organizations throughout the country. I’m excited for a fun filled summer of exploring Westchester’s trails and teaching my campers about Hudson Valley ecology and conservation!

Maria Mcgarty
Hi! My name is Mac, and I’m one of the Explorer’s Counselors this Summer, and in the Fall I will be going into my junior year at UMass Amherst, majoring in Natural Resource Conservation. I love making art, petting dogs, and spending time in the woods, and I’m super excited for this summer at Teatown!

Angie Berg
Hi! My name is Angie (she/her) and I am so excited to be a senior counselor at Teatown this summer! This fall I will be a freshman at UVM, and I am interested in literature and environmental studies. I enjoy going on hikes, playing instruments, and writing poetry. Some things that I am looking forward to for this summer’s camp sessions are doing crafts , hiking on Teatown’s trails, and exploring the environment with the campers! Looking forward to a great summer!

Charlie Anzalone
Hi! I’m Charlie, I’m from Croton-On-Hudson, and I’m a rising sophomore at Temple University. If you see me outdoors I’m probably running, hiking, or walking my dog. Teatown was always the highlight of my summer so I’m very excited to spend this one with campers.

Ella Erskine
Hi! My name is Ella Erskine and I am so excited to be a counselor at Teatown this summer. I am currently exploring the fields of geology, biology, and environmental studies at Tufts University. I hope to see you all on the trails soon!

Emma Corini
Hi everyone! I’m Emma (she/her) and I’m from Westchester, NY. I’m going to Boston University in the fall and I’m studying Health Science! I’m really looking forward to a summer full of hiking, exploring, and meeting my campers!

Griffin Brown
I’m Griffin, this is my 5th summer as a counselor at Teatown but I have been a camper for much longer. I enjoy hiking, mountain biking and Guitar. I am a rising junior at the University of Delaware and I am studying Mechanical Engineering.

Jack Weynand
Hi! My name is Jack, and this is my third year working with Teatown’s camp program as a counselor! I love hiking the trails here at Teatown, especially hidden valley, and look forward to catching lots of critters with the campers.

Jeannine Pecoraro
Hey! I’m Jeannine and I’m from Croton-on-Hudson. I’m a rising sophomore at Tufts University, studying philosophy and environmental studies. This summer is going to be a blast!

Jeremy Oliver
Hey My name is Jeremy Olivier I’ve been going to Teatown for about 13 or 14 years. I will be a senior counselor this year, I look forward to having a great summer with all the kids.

Lukas Shriver
Hi! My name is Lukas! I’m a bug fanatic, and will be going into my senior year at Binghamton University. Looking forward to some awesome hikes this session!

Mary Ford
Mary is a senior counselor at Teatown. Mary loves being outside and going on runs and hikes with friends and family. A member of her school’s science research program during high school, Mary is excited to continue her studies in biodosimetry in college this fall.

Morghan Lavery
Hi my name is Morghan. I’m from Croton on Hudson and I’m so excited for camp this summer. I was a camper at Teatown for six years. I can’t wait to go explore and catch some cool animals.

Nora Lowery
Hi! My name is Nora. I am a senior counselor at Teatown this year and I will be a freshman at Lafayette in the fall. I love identifying all the plants and exploring all the cool spots we have at Teatown. I’m super excited to get out on the trails this summer and discover all sorts of things with the campers!

Sydney Piccoli
Hi I’m Sydney (she/her), and I’m really looking forward to exploring the outdoors with your kids this summer. Recently, I did my senior year internship in stewardship at Teatown. I’m going to be a freshman at Hamilton College in the fall and plan on pursuing government & woman and gender studies. In my spare time, I enjoy reading poetry, going on hikes, doing New York Times crossword puzzles, and writing.

Zoe Malionek
Hello! I’m Zoe, a sophomore at Dickinson College. I’m double majoring in Classical Studies with a focus in Latin, and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. I am passionate about teaching children how to live and have fun in the outdoors, and I love finding and identifying mushrooms and plants on the trail. I’ve been at Teatown since I was six, and I’m so excited to be a counselor at Teatown this year!

Hi! My name is Zoë (she/her) and I’m entering my sophomore year at Binghamton University, where I study Biochemistry and Environmental Studies and run on the Cross Country and Track teams. I’m looking forward to an awesome summer of exploration and adventure at Teatown!

Dashiell McDonnell

Hi! My name is Jackson. I am a junior at Croton-Harmon High School and this summer I am going to be a Junior Counselor at Teatown! I love exploring nature and finding magical spots that make Teatown so special. I’m super excited to get outside this summer and have lots of fun with the campers!

Hello! My name is Justin Luks and I am going into my freshman year of college at the University of Maryland. I am excited to be a counselor at Teatown this year. I cannot wait to teach and help the kids develop while exploring the outdoors.

Malcolm Oth
Hi I’m Malcolm Oth, I am a 16 year old highschool student and I am excited to be a junior counselor at Teatown! I was a camper at teatown for 8 years and I always looked up to my counselors as a kid. I want to bring the same great experience to my campers that my counselors brought to me.

Miles Hamilton
My name is Miles, and I have been a camper at Teatown for quite some time. I love working with nature and I am super excited to be a counselor this summer.

Mitchell Peran
Hi, I’m Mitchell (he/him), and I am going to be a junior counselor this summer at Teatown. I did a Stewardship/groundskeeping internship here in the spring in connection with my school. I am graduating from Scarsdale High School and attending Brandeis University in the fall. I love traveling, nature, and theatre. I am excited to work with kids this summer.

Sarah Gardner
Hello! My name is Sarah, and I’m so excited to be back at camp for my 9th summer, this year being my first as a Junior Counselor! I’m looking forward to getting muddy, being out in nature, and meeting some animals!

Taylor Luks
Hi! My name is Taylor and I am a junior at Somers High School. I’ve gone to this camp for 10 years and this is my first year counseling here. I’m very excited for this summer!

Thomas Frazier
My name is Thomas Frazier. I go to Croton Harmon High School, and I’ve been going to Teatown since 2013. I’ve always felt a connection with nature and strive to be a role model in other’s lives, and I am excited to get outside and teach others about all the cool things Teatown and it’s wildlife has to offer.
