School Vacation Mini-Camps

Teatown Lake Reservation offers three environmental camps for children ages 4-12 years during school closing weeks.  The Holi-Daze Mini-Camp is held in December between Christmas and New Years. Winter Mini-Camp is held during President’s week in February and our Spring Mini-Camp takes place during spring break in late March or April. Mini-camps are typically 5 days, but may be 4 depending on the day of the week the holiday falls on.

The Camp is divided into two groups: 4-5 years olds from 9:00am-noon and6-12 year olds from 9:00am-3:00pm. The Camp is run by our educators who help foster young people’s innate curiosity and enthusiasm about flora and fauna through a mix of outdoor explorations and age appropriate activities, games and crafts.
