Whatever your background, if you enjoy talking with people about animals, nature, and conservation, or would like to work to support Teatown’s educational efforts, we have a volunteer opportunity just for you!

Volunteers help to run every aspect of Teatown Lake Reservation with skill, enthusiasm, dedication, patience and good humor.  In exchange, we promise you enjoyment, fulfillment, interesting colleagues, new friends, a stimulating environment, and the opportunity to learn a great deal.  Inspiring training courses teach you everything you need to know to do a top-notch job.

Teatown Lake Reservation Volunteer Program Goals:

1. Provide a hands-on opportunity for the public to become involved in the protection and preservation of their environment;
2. Support public education and awareness efforts on how we all may be better stewards;
3. Increase community participation in nurturing and protecting the environment, education, and ecology projects.
