Teatown’s special events help support our education programs and land stewardship efforts, and provide opportunities for the public to have fun while learning about nature in our region. Each year we have the following events:

Annual Fall Festival
Saturday, October 18, 2008, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Teatown’s annual Fall Festival, on the grounds of beautiful Teatown Lake Reservation in Ossining will be held Saturday, October 18, from 10 am to 4 pm. Our focus is on family fun while promoting an appreciation for our natural environment and our surroundings. There will be pumpkin carving, scarecrow decorating, hayrides, raptor demonstrations, Muscoot farm animals, musical entertainment by David Rinaldi and the Fireflies and Music by Mommies, eco-crafts and an expanded Teatown marketplace. And so much more!

Highlights of last years 2008  EagleFest event

Headquartered  in heated tents at Westchester County’s Croton Point Park and featured:

- Collaborators exhibits, educational displays and children’s activities.

- “Close Encounters with Birds of Prey,” Bill Streeter from the Delaware Valley Raptor Center introduced eagles, hawks, and owls for an informative and entertaining presentation. 

- Eagle Exploration Bus Tour. Charter bus tours with an environmental educator, to sites along the Hudson River.
