Registration and Payment Information
Please Pre-register for all events by calling Teatown at (914) 762-2912, ext. 110, Tuesday - Sunday, 9:00 am-5:00 pm. All events and programs must be paid for at the time of booking. We accept American Express, VISA, MasterCard and Discover, or you can pay in person with cash or check. All programs take place in the Nature Center and are free for members and $5 for non-members (plus materials fee, if applicable), unless otherwise specified.
Refund Policy: No refunds will be granted less than two weeks prior to the event or program date. People withdrawing prior to this deadline will receive a 75% refund (25% charged for administrative costs). All events and programs will take place at the Nature Center unless otherwise noted.

A River’s Story: The Croton River

Join the expedition as we follow the Croton River from it’s beginning in the Great Swamp of Patterson to its eventual outlet in the Hudson River. From the tidal waters of Croton Bay to the rapids that block upstream passage the Croton River is a scenic gem. Paddling up the river against the tide and current through high cliffs, get away from it all without going very far at all. Participants must have prior canoeing experience, and will carpool to the put-ins. Bring water, lunch, sunscreen and bug repellent and wear clothes and shoes that can get wet and muddy. Pre-registration required.

Wildflower Island Open House

As part of Teatown’s 25th Anniversary Celebration for Wildflower Island, there will be an open house when guided 30-45 minute “highlight” tours of the Island will be provided on a continual basis from 10am through 2pm; registration is not required. However, children under 12 years of age will not be permitted on the Island. We encourage all interested individuals to join us in celebrating the anniversary of this treasure by taking advantage of this opportunity to visit the Island and observe the breathtaking beauty of its biodiversity.
