Registration and Payment Information

Teatown invites everyone to attend “All Welcome” programs, regardless of age of participant (except where noted). We think children, adults and families will all enjoy these events.

Please Pre-register for all events by calling Teatown at (914) 762-2912, ext. 110, Tuesday - Sunday, 9:00 am-5:00 pm. All events and programs must be paid for at the time of booking. We accept American Express, VISA, MasterCard and Discover, or you can pay in person with cash or check. All programs take place in the Nature Center and are free for members and $5 for non-members (plus materials fee, if applicable), unless otherwise specified.

Refund Policy: No refunds will be granted less than two weeks prior to the event or program date. People withdrawing prior to this deadline will receive a 75% refund (25% charged for administrative costs). All events and programs will take place at the Nature Center unless otherwise noted.

Who are Teatown’s best ambassadors? Our wildlife – that’s who! Each session features a different animal and focuses on natural history and ecological connections. For children of all ages, little ones must be accompanied by an adult.

Stoke up the fire, it’s maple sugaring time at Teatown. From tapping to collecting, boiling to bottling, Teatown’s naturalists will be in the sugar house with facts and folklore about the sweetest time of the year!

Annual Pancake Brunch

Fee:Adult M:$10, NM:$12; Child M:$5, NM:$7
Bring your appetite for our tastiest annual tradition – the Pancake Brunch! Start your day off with stacks of hotcakes and maple syrup, hot coffee and sausages, and more. Then visit the sugarhouse to watch a demonstration about how our ‘liquid gold’ is produced.

Fee: Adult members $10; Nonmembers $12; Children under 12 years Members $5; Nonmembers $7

Seatings: 8:30, 9:45, 11:00, 12:15

Wake Up Call!

At the end of March, ice is melting off vernal pools around Teatown, and frogs and salamanders are returning to their home pools to breed. Hike along as we do some early spring monitoring. Dress to get wet, some cold water wading may be involved.

A Happiness of Bluebirds

Normally a tree cavity nester, bluebirds’
numbers are directly linked to the suitability of nesting sites. Hike to Hidden Valley to check our bluebird boxes and look for
bluebirds. Instructions for building and monitoring your own bluebird trail will be provided.
